LISTEN UP!

February 5

At home, the family is usually complete during dinnertime. It is during this time that we talk about what happened during the day. It is also mostly set aside for the reminders about behavior, chores, and schoolwork. If we get notes from the teacher about certain concerns, we talk about that over dinner.

I certainly would like to have these moments with people I work with at Essays.PH. I know that we work online and we have a different kind of working environment but sometimes, there are things you can only implant if you’re face-to-face with a person. Read the rest of this entry »

Of 2011 Comebacks, Future, and Math

January 6

It’s been a while since I have sent revision requests and PMs of slot release and warn increase to any of the homebased writers @ EPH. I also haven’t typed anything on the Papyrus dashboard for (9) Thursdays since this last post. I’ve been out of the loop and it’s only this week that I’ve heard about the new characters at the forums through the chief editor.

I welcome myself back to this reality. Read the rest of this entry »

Everyday Horror

October 28

So, Halloween’s knocking again and I should be preparing my kids’ costumes for the activities lined up – but we’re not attending any this year. Our son simply outgrew it. While there is no issue with our ever-sociable 3-year old, I have to say I just feel lazy to think about a unique costume for any of them. The RTWs in the malls are tempting, BUT those wouldn’t cut it – my munchkins shouldn’t be anything like the other kids. It’s a mommy-G-must. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s Complicated

October 14

No, this isn’t about my relationship status (although it went through that level some years ago). It’s a bit personal, but as always, I’d try to segue to something EPH-related. Read the rest of this entry »

Calendar Marks

September 30

Because of extreme excitement, overflowing number of ideas, and so many options available – you simply do not know how to start with the planning (or preps at that!). Read the rest of this entry »

A Thursday Post on a Friday

September 23

A few minutes from now, it will be Friday. I am a Thursday blogger for Papyrus, so yes – this is really late. I’ve been itching to post “Requesting for a GC. Will submit tomorrow…” but that line is not applicable here. Read the rest of this entry »

Sapphire Thoughts I

September 16

September is special. Although a couple of tragedies happened during this month (9/11 in the US, and 2009 Ondoy), September still is a month many look forward to. Read the rest of this entry »

Does This Count As Annoying?

September 9

So, yeah… that’s a line from the animated flick, Despicable Me (still showing as of this post). It was so easy to fall for that big-eyed, little girl Agnes who threw this question at the main character, Gru (a huge guy with long, slender legs who lives in a spooky house, drives a rocket car, and carries a retractable blaster and freeze ray in his pocket). The Tropical Storm That Was…

September 2

… my namesake.

When I read the news online about a tropical depression lurking east of North Luzon I had two silent reactions: scared for those who might be gravely affected by its “maximum winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph” and amused that it’s named Glenda.
